Campaign Analysis with the Co-Analyst

The campaign is over. Now comes the question everyone is asking: Was the budget worth it? To answer that, you need to gather the numbers, compare them with last year’s figures, explain outliers, and draw conclusions. That takes time.

The minubo Co-Analyst can take this work off your hands. There’s a playbook for this: a ready-made analysis workflow for a typical question. The detailed analysis instructions are already in place behind the scenes. You don’t have to write them yourself. The Co-Analyst asks follow-up questions when needed to bring in your business knowledge. You then steer the results in chat.

In this article, we’ll show you the playbook for analyzing your marketing campaigns: what you get at the end, how the process works, and how to explore the analysis further through dialogue.

What your campaign analysis looks like

The following video is a good starting point for understanding what the playbook does for you and what output you can expect. It’s also worth taking a look at the sample HTML report we generated using demo data for you to view.

Sample playbook output

The playbook’s initial output comes as an HTML report in a consistent, easily reproducible format, filled with individual insights into your campaign. Take a look at our sample demo report to get an overview of what to expect.

The report gives you:

  • An assessment of your campaign based on the most important metrics
  • Comparisons with the channel average, the previous year, or another campaign
  • A breakdown of outliers
  • Actionable recommendations

Note:

  • The HTML report has been rendered as an image here. Unfortunately, this slightly affects the layout quality.
  • The report is interactive. Details such as the methodology only appear after clicking “Show details.”

Important note on model selection: The analysis requires a powerful AI model. Less capable models are not suitable. A run takes around 3 to 7 minutes, depending on the model and scope.

Generating the initial output

Here’s how to get your campaign analysis in record time.

Step 1: Describe your campaign

First, tell the Co-Analyst what you want it to analyze. You can do this in a sentence or in bullet points. Important points include:

  • Campaign name
  • Time period to be analyzed
  • Comparisons, for example with the channel average, the same period last year, or another campaign
  • Goals you had set, such as a target CAC, a target new customer rate, a target order value, or a target profit

An example:

“Please assess campaign XYZ for May 2026. The focus was on new customer acquisition, with a target new customer rate of at least 50% and a maximum CAC of €12. Please compare it with the same period last year and the channel average.”

If information is missing, such as the time period, the Co-Analyst actively asks for it. So you can simply get started and be guided through the process step by step.

After a few minutes, you’ll receive the analysis as an HTML file in chat.

Step 2: Explore further through dialogue

The first report is the starting point. If it already gives you everything you need, great. If not, you can request adjustments in chat or explore individual areas in more depth.

Add a chart: Have the trends in advertising cost-to-revenue ratio (KUR) and CAC displayed in a separate chart.
